Attorney Moen represents clients in complex employment and business disputes in Massachusetts, New York, and New Hampshire, including the prosecution of class action lawsuits on behalf of thousands of victims of wage theft. His work in Olvera v. Mazzone Management Group Ltd., et al was recognized as one of the top 20 Wage and Hour settlements of 2020. His practice includes:

  • Represented a class of restaurant servers and other similarly situated employees in a certified class action against a New York restaurant group for misappropriation of tips under the New York Labor Law 196-d and violations of federal and state minimum wage and overtime laws, resulting in a $4 million settlement

  • Represented certified class of banquet servers against resort hotel in New York, resulting in a $1.2 million settlement

  • Represented certified class of banquet servers against New York hotel, resulting in six-figure settlement

  • Represented certified FLSA collective of Massachusetts Dunkin Donuts employees for claims of unpaid overtime

  • Represented bioengineer and inventor against a Massachusetts biotech company for unpaid compensation and employee misclassification, resulting in six-figure settlement

  • Represented scientist and professor against Massachusetts non-profit organization for unpaid compensation and misclassification, resulting in substantial confidential settlement
